Eric Walton joined Spence Asset Management in 2000. Mr. Walton is responsible for coordinating and managing institutional and retail marketing activities. In addition to his marketing activities, Mr. Walton assists James Spence with selecting fixed income investments and allocating assets to the balanced and income portfolios. He sits on the company’s investment committee where his role is to stress test the research and debate the strengths of the business models in areas such as: business prospects, competition, risks, valuation, financial strength, litigation and other unique investment details. Mr. Walton also acts as the Chief Operating Officer overseeing day-to-day operations and managing the office’s support staff and other personnel.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from New Mexico State University in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. In 2005, Mr. Walton became a partner in Spence Asset Management.
