FOUNDATION
The Spence Asset Management Foundation is a charitable organization founded by Spence Asset Management, Inc. The principals and employees of Spence Asset Management, Inc. formed The Spence Asset Management Foundation with the mission to support local community organizations with a focus on education and health for youth.
The Spence Asset Management Foundation will support non-profit organizations in the communities where the firm’s partners live and work in order to help the youth of the communities thrive. The Spence Asset Management Foundation will serve solely as a grant making organization. Grants given by The Spence Asset Management Foundation will be for organizations that have tax-exempt status under the Internal Revenue Service Section 501(c) 3. Organizations receiving funds from the foundation may only use the funds for operating purposes in providing services. Grant applications will be reviewed quarterly by the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
The Spence Asset Management Foundation will be funded by Spence Asset Management, Inc. as well as outside donations from corporate partners and individuals. Spence Asset Management will donate a percentage of its annual management fees to The Foundation.
